Today I just kind of hung out all day. I didn’t have work today which was magnificant.
Yesterday i was succesfully able to move up the food chain the idea of getting some relief and support information for the tsunami/earthquake victims put on the MSU home page. That made me feel really good. Like maybe that will help raise some money if people see that on the MSU home page. Plus it made me feel good that the people around their really trust me.
I made a donation to American Red Cross on amazon.com today. I know the American Red Cross has been around forever and they will make good use of it for helping the tsunami victims.
I went to go see the movie Finding Neverland with my p-rents today. I had heard lots of really good things about it. It had gotten nominated for lots of awards. Its about the guy who wrote Peter Pan. The playwrite is johnny depp. Im not a huge fan of his but he does an excellent job. The movie was PG which is different from alot of the movies I have seen lately.

Today was a good day. At work things just seemed to go really well. I got a lot accomplished. I need to figure out what I am going to work on tomorrow.
Plus it seems like the other salary full time employees are taking me seriously with the things that I talk about. Im trying to get them to follow web standards more stricter and know they think I’m the expert. lol
I had one meeting today and I get there and the lady is like, “justin have lost weight?” That made me feel good. Plus one of the older ladies from our office retired and this was her last day. I know get her really really expensive chair (like $1200 i think.) Yay!
Tonite I relaxed at home for a while and then went out for coffee with my friend Jenna. Coffee was a blast.
I wrote a lot today. Wow this is my 4th entry.
My new geeky fascination, podcasting.

Today at work i was thinking eating my lunch and thinking about what was going on across the pacific with the people affected by the tsunami and earthquake. I don’t know but my heart just went out to these people. I wanna do whatever I can to help.
I can’t can’t imagine having 100,000 people dead. The idea makes my body numb. They said the tidal wave that was created in this disaster would have spanned from Oregon to San Diego.
Im prayerfully considering making a sizeable donation to one of the relief agencies.
I think something cool is all the bloggers that are rising up to be super useful in the middle of this disaster.

Not really awake yet. My brain is still about one third on vacation.
I got lots of work to do today. Mmm, this starbucks coffee is good. Got a little bit of starbucks out of the coffee pot this morning which is excellent.
I have been having some issues with my iPod mini battery. It has only been lasting about 5 hrs when its should be going up to 7-8. I drained it and then totally charged it last nite and I am going to do the same today and see what happens. I dug out the sales slip last nite just in case.
Lots of work to do…

This afternoon when i went to my car I found that I had received a Christmas present from the City of Lansing Police. I had a seven dollar ticket for parking on the street from 2am to 5am.
We only have a one lane drive way so I will frequently have one car that will be on the street. I knew that the city of Lansing had an ordinance saying your not supposed to park on the street from 2am to 5am but I never followed it. It was just inconvenient. It was funny because today I was talking with my family, before I knew about the ticket, about how people are trying to get the no-parking rule repealed.
I understand that they want the ordinance because it helps control how many people live in a house and also helps the guys who are clearing snow off the streets.
But for our family when we have lots of people and lots of cars, man not being able to park on the street sucks. I can’t take just any car to work because I have a special parking sticker.
I hope they repeal the ordinance.

We didn’t really travel at all for Christmas so I asked my parents if they wanted to go down to the mall in Novi. There is one of the only 2 Apple store’s in Michigan. Plus it is closest to where I live. So we went down.
The Apple Store isn’t as big as some that I have seen. It was sweet though. I fell in love with the new line of Apple Monitors. One of the setups that they had on display was the 12 inch laptop hooked up to the 20 inch wide screen monitor. This is exactly the setup that I want. Those monitors are just so expensive.
The iPod socks are pretty rediculous. If they were only 5 bucks maybe I would pop for it. They are so not worth 30 bucks though.
I am happy that I got the iPod mini. I don’t have enough music to fill the 20 gig and its too big, like size. I like the way that mini feels in my hand. I played with some of the other ipods while I was there.
They didn’t have ipod mini iTrip which is what I wanted. I want to be able to listen to my iPod music while i’m in the car.

Merry Christmas All!
Today I was up at 6am for some reason. I couldn’t sleep.
Just kind of hung out all day. I went to go see the movie Meet the Fockers with my parents. That is a great movie. I think it was even better then Meet the Parents. I can’t believe that it has been so long since the first movie.
Tonite we played scrabble. I felt so brain dead. I couldn’t do anything. I played scrabble last nite also. I actually did very well. I scored like a 140. While we were playing scrabble I hooked my iPod up to a pair of mini speakers. I was able to play some festive music.

My mom read a devotion the other nite at dinner from a book that I got her called, Grace for the Moment By Max Lucado. It wasn’t long; maybe only a paragraph. I thought it was excellent.
It talks about how one of the best part of giving eachother gifts at Christmas is the seeing someone’s eyes light up as they open it up. Getting something for someone isn’t just special because of what it is but because of the thought behind it. You can say I got it or I made it just for you.
It goes on to talk abou how when your walking through life and you see something truly amazing to think of God saying, “hey I made it just for you.”
Merry Christmas to all!!

This morning I awoke to a very bad snow. I took the day off today so I wasn’t up till like 8am. That felt nice. I fell asleep last nite about 10pm so I really got a good sleep.
Well this morning I had my 6 month appointment with my gum doctor. I had to brave the icy roads. I go and the doc checks to make sure my gums are not puffy and stuff. They will also clean my teeth.
The people at his office are soo awesome. They are very positive. That is one reason why I love going there. They know my name and who I am the minute that I walk in the door. It is a different attitude then any other dentist type place that I have been too. I wish I could make it my regular dentist. I would have all my family and friends go there.
