One thing that I am looking forward to next week is Tuesday is the start of Amazing Race season 8. It is the family edition. I think they are only staying in the US which isn’t as exotic but it will be cool because I will know more of the places that they have been to.

As I am watching the new season, I will be waiting to hear back if my dad and I are going to get called back to possibly be in season 9 of the Amazing Race. It will be fun to watch.

I was happy to see that last night my favorite reality show, the Amazing Race, won an Emmy Award for Best Reality Show. Amazing Race seems like the one reality show where there is so much more to it then just heartless backstabbing and bickering, like most reality shows. There is that aspect of excitement and suspense because it is a race. Then there is the excotic nature of Amazing Race because off all the locales that they go to.

Hopefully I will be hearing soon about the application that my dad and I have in for Amazing Race 9.

Amazing Race 8 the family edition starts next week on Tuesday at 9pm on CBS. It should be fun to watch.

As part of the Amazing Race applications, we had to prove that we were applying for passports. We received the passports today.

My passport photo is very funny. It looks like im scouling. LOL

I am getting more excited about the idea of possibly being on the Amazing Race.

Now that my dad and I have our applications in for the Amazing Race 9, we just wait. We wait and hope that one of the producers finds our applications and audition video interesting enough for us to make it to the semi-finals. We want to have the oppurtunity to wow them in person.

Until I get bound by some type of CBS non-disclosure agreement, I am going to be blogging the entire way through the audition process.

Today my dad and I mailed in our applications, audition tape, and proof of passport applications into the producers for Amazing Race. We want to be on Amazing Race 9.

It was funny when we were at the post office getting our passports, the ladies who took our passport photos wrote our names down so they could remember us if we made it onto the show.

What a thrill it would be to get selected! Now I just have to wait and see if we get a call back.
