Yesterday I was looking around the Apple iTunes Music Store. Much to my surprise, I noticed that the NBC hit tv show West Wing is now available for purchase. YAY!!! You can purchase the first and second season. It is awesome. You knew this was something that had to happen at some point. I’m glad it has finally happened. It is something I have wanted and my readers have wanted for a while.

I have to admit that when my friends first said they were going to watch the TV show Firefly. I was quite skeptical. I passed it off as just another bad b-rated sci-fi tv-show.

Then I watched my first episode. Boy was I wrong. This show is not your typical sci-fi show with crazy aliens. It is a western-style human drama set in space but not about space. (if that makes sense) I really enjoyed it. I would like to by the DVDs for the TV show so I can watch the show with more of my friends.

Last night my friends and I watched the movie Serenity, which is based off of the tv show Firefly. After the movie, they were all talking about how awesome a second season of the show would be. The tv show was canceled after 12 episodes due to poor ratings.

That got me thinking. Over the course of my eight years of working on the web, I have seen the World Wide Web figuratively move mountains in ways that would have never possible before.

I think if people gave the tv show a chance, they would be really drawn to it. How do you get people to try a show they would have never tried before?

How could the World Wide Web be used to help bring back to the Joss Whedon’s canceled TV Show Firefly?

Have you guys seen Firefly or Serenity before? What do you think?

It is a sad day for fans of the TV show Frasier. Our favorite television dog, Eddie has died. The adorable Jack Russell terrier was 16 years old. The dog’s real name was Moose.

*sniffles* (just kidding)

You will finally be able to get CSI on the Apple iTunes Music Store. CBS has inked the deal with Apple to sell their content. This is awesome! The CSI shows are addictive. I had been missing CSI Las Vegas the last year because I always had things on Thursday night.

I just wish there was versions of the shows with commercials so that I could get them for free. I love the shows but not enough to pay $1.99 for them.

One weekend I watched some episodes of the television show Firefly with some friends. I have to admit that I got hooked. It is a pretty good show. I’m a geek what I can I say.

It is a bummer Fox canceled the show.

Well I noticed this morning you can now get download the hit television show Firefly off the Apple iTunes Music Store. Maybe if enough people download the show of iTunes, it will give Fox enough of a reason to restart the series.

PS: You can get also now get the show Prison Break. :-D

Is anyone else sad about NBC’s TV show West Wing ending? I have been watching the show since its first episode. I feel like I know the characters.

I guess its time to buy the season DVDs.

Who wants to have a West Wing Series Finale party?

In December 2005, I wrote a post on my blog asking if West Wing would be put up on the Apple iTunes Music Store. Five months have passed since I made that post. A lot of people have read it.

There are only two new episodes of West Wing left on NBC. It is a show that I have watched from the beginning. I have gotten to know the characters. They feel like my friends.

Andy Bowers, of Slate, agrees with me. NBC’s West Wing could be reincarnated on the Apple iTunes Music Store.

What do you think? Drop me a comment.

On blogs, vidcasts, and podcasts, I have been hearing SO MUCH about the battle between HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray.

If I understand correctly, the only way that you’ll see a difference is if you have LARGE high-definition(HD) tv. But how many people really have large HD televisions?

Maybe it is just because I am in college and most of are just happy to have a tv. I can’t ever imagine dropping $1,000 or more on a tv. I can’t imagine dropping $600 or more on a tv.

Instead of pushing for having more high definition and better quality, how about pushing for better content and cheaper delivery?

This quarter I have my Usability Testing class on Wednesday from 6-10pm. This means that I miss the TV show LOST on ABC at 9pm.

It is all good though. I can download the episode of LOST off the Apple iTunes Music Store tomorrow. It is fabulous.

I guess I am not revealing anything amazing in this post. iTunes works. I am showing that the use cases that they planned for the store are right on.

This also means that no one can tell me what happened tomorrow.
