ActiveRain.com has built massive nationwide community for real estate professionals

As part of my effort to help a client with an effort to develop a blogging program for his national real estate network, I’ve become familiar with a huge online business community that really seems to work.

It’s called ActiveRain (AR) and it consists of several thousand members from around the country. The majority are real estate agents and brokers. But, there are others in AR like mortgage brokers, home staging professionals, title people and others.

They literally write about everything that affects their industry and their fellow members respond and communities within communities are created.

Buyers and sellers are also troll the network and anecdotes are shared about how sales are made through agent blogs.

For anybody wanting to see how an online network operates, this is worth checking out. It’s not perfect, but it seems to work.
